ADRAD Jubilee Award
Issued by the ADRAD (Radio Amateurs du Kaydall) to commemorate their 20th anniversary. Starting date is 1 Jan 1999. Earn 30 points, including at least 3 members and 1 special event station. Special event stations are: LX20AK (10 pts), LX9AK, LX9DIG, LX9KS and LX0AK (all 5 pts.). Other members count 2 points on HF and 4 on other bands. Any other LX stations count 1 point. Work member countries of the EC on or after their date of membership for points. SWL OK. A contact with LX0RL may replace a missing contact with any of the member countries. No repeater/satellite contacts. No band or mode restrictions.

The LARU LX AWARD
The LARU LX AWARD is issued for celebrating the foundation of the Luxembourg Amateur Radio Union. The award is available to licensed amateur radio operators and short wave listeners. All contacts with stations operating from LX count towards the award.
The award is issued in the following categories:
LARU LX HF 20 AWARD for at least 20 LX contacts on HF
LARU LX HF 50 AWARD for at least 50 LX contacts on HF
LARU LX HF 100 AWARD for at least 100 LX contacts on HF
LARU LX VHF 20 AWARD for at least 20 LX contacts on VHF
LARU LX VHF 50 AWARD for at least 50 LX contacts on VHF
LARU LX VHF 100 AWARD for at least 100 LX contacts on VHF
(HF is below 30 MHz, VHF is above 30 MHz.)
Contacts via earthbound repeaters are not valid. The same station may
be worked once per band and mode. All modes are valid.
The award certificates are numbered in ascending order. For short wave listeners, the award is named LARU LX (V)HF xx SWL AWARD.
Applicants should complete the application form (which can be downloaded from their website), , submitting a list showing the date, station worked or heard, time, band and mode, duly certified by three licensed amateur radio operators.
The fee for each category is 10 Euro. Awards will be mailed by post to the applicants. Apply to: Luxembourg Amateur Radio Union, a.s.b.l., Post Box 85, L-9201 Diekirch, Grand-Duchy of Luxembourg.

The Luxembourg Award
Awarded for contacting LX stations since 1 Jan 1951. SWL OK.
stations earn 30 points of which 20% should be on 1.8, 3.5 or 7 Mhz. Each
contact is worth 1 point.
All others need 20 points. Contacts on 14, 18, 21, 24 and 28 Mhz = 1 point. Each contact on 1.8, 3.5, 7 and 10 Mhz = 2 points.
If the same station has been worked on all HF bands, European stations may count 10 points and others 15 points for the required total.
The same station may be worked once on each band in different modes.
There is no restriction on mode/s used.

Luxembourg Castle Award
Contact castles of Luxembourg beginning 1 January 2009. The LX Castle Award exists in 3 different levels of difficulty. For each, a different diploma is offered. All HF bands (incl. 6 meters) and all modes may be used. Contacts via active earthbound reflectors, repeaters and echo link are not counted. Submit application as provided on the RL website: www.rlx.lu.
The three different award categories are: (1) one castle in each of the 3 LX districts, (2) one castle in each of the 12 Cantons, and (3) all 55 castles in the country. The cantons and districts are all identified in the list of castles. Special rules have been provided for stations which activate castles. Refer to their website.

Contact LX amateurs and special event stations that are associated with scouting. Europeans need 10 points, all others 7. Scout club and special stations worked during "Jamboree on the Air" each 3rd weekend of October are good for 3 points each as follows: LX1JAA to LX1JAZ , LX1JBA to LX1JBZ.
